    Is it weird that I totally got the unicorn thing and didn’t think it was weird? Except sometimes I think maybe I am actually a unicorn because I’m so odd that I kind of stick out, except it’s because I have ADHD not because I have a javelin stuck in my head. But…uh…what?

    This is actually a fear of mine. I see myself going in for evaluation and they say, “Nope, you don’t have it. (to paraphrase K. Kelly) You ARE just lazy, stupid and crazy.”

Many adults who suspect they do have ADHD, actually don’t.  It’s something else.  And the vast majority of adults who do have ADHD have no idea.  And ignorance is not bliss.
