Breakfast Television
So the media is hearing about our workshop on Adult ADHD and we’re getting all kinds of phone calls, from newspapers and from radio and television stations. A nice change from the steady calls from creditors.
Sarah Hampson at Globe and Mail is doing an article on Tuesday for her Currency column. I’m talking to the Toronto Star on Monday. Or is it Tuesday? We’ve done some radio already, and on Monday morning we’re going to be on Breakfast Television.
And we have to be there at 7:00 in the morning. Which means I have to be up and moving by… 5:30 AM. WHAT!?! Who invented Breakfast Television?
I want to be on Mid-Afternoon Snack And Naps Television!
Why isn’t there an Early Evening In The Hot Tub Television?
I got into show business to avoid 7:00 in the morning. Comedy clubs didn’t open till 8:00 at night! It was wonderful. Sleep till noon, breakfast at one. Lunch at 5:00 and dinner at 11:00 after the show. That was the life. Until I turned 30. Then it all got a bit old, and maybe so did I.
Still, 5:30. If I’m smart, I’ll get up tomorrow, Sunday morning, early, to get by body kind of in tune.
But I’m not that smart. I’ll probably sleep in. After all it’s Sunday! The day of rest. Not that I’ll be at church. Or even resting.
So I have to get up at least two hours earlier than usual, get myself downtown, do makeup and all the rest, and then be perky and attentive and coherent in front of a potential audience of six billion people. (Less if they don’t get Breakfast Television in China and India.)
Lucky for me I have a secret weapon that works well in these circumstances.
My ADHD.

I would have loved to attend this workshop but unfortunately, it SOLD OUT!
Ofcoarse, due to the fact that I am a procrastinator, I waited until this morning to try and get a ticket.
When and where will the next workshop be held? I live in Mississauga.
